The map is Leonida, not a Vice City island
OFFICIALRockstar’s state-sized Florida parody includes modern Vice City plus Keys, swamps, a port, and inland towns named in official stills.
The setting is the state of Leonida, a parody of Florida. Vice City is the neon coastal core — a modern reading of the series’ most famous city, not a 1986 time capsule and not an island the size of a GTA III city.
Official stills and the Extended Look also show the Leonida Keys, swamp and river country (Grassrivers), inland fabric including Ambrosia, and Port Gellhorn. Map-size comparisons versus GTA V or Red Dead Redemption 2 are REPORTED or THEORY on this site, never mixed into the official block.
