How big is the GTA 6 map?
OFFICIALLeonida is a state-sized Florida parody. Exact square-mileage claims are REPORTED or THEORY, not official.
Rockstar has said players will operate across Leonida, including a modern Vice City. Official stills name Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Ambrosia, and Port Gellhorn. That is the official geography vocabulary.
Square kilometers versus Los Santos, versus RDR2’s frontier, versus “1.5× GTA V” YouTube thumbnails are not Rockstar statements. We dump those on the map page’s theories tab.
What you can trust: it is not a Vice City island the size of 2002. Trailers show highways, wetlands, keys, a port, and a dense coastal city in one connected space.
Verticality, interiors, and water change how a map feels more than a raw km² slide. The Extended Look spends time in apartments, clubs, elevators, and wetland interiors. That density is CONFIRMED-from-footage. It is not a size number.
Fan maps that add extra counties are THEORY until Rockstar prints those names. Our facts tab only uses printed names and footage.
We will stamp an official figure the hour Rockstar or a store page writes one. Until then this answer stays geographically honest and numerically empty.
