FAQ
How many cities are in GTA 6?
OFFICIALRockstar has not published a city count. Leonida is the state. Vice City is confirmed inside it. Other named places are regions, not a numbered list.
There is no official number. Anyone printing “three cities” or “nine cities” is guessing or leaking. This page will not invent a count to rank.
What is printed: the setting is Leonida, a modern Florida parody. Vice City is the named coastal city inside that state. Official stills and films also use Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Ambrosia, and Port Gellhorn. Those are places in the official vocabulary — not a census of municipalities.
2002’s Vice City was a city. VI’s public materials describe a state with a city in it. That is the scale change. Square-mileage comparisons still live on the map page under THEORY.
Airports, towns, and extra counties show up in fan maps. Until Rockstar names them, they stay off this answer.
Related: where is Leonida, how big is the GTA 6 map. If Rockstar later says “N cities,” the first sentence here becomes that number.
