FAQ
Where is Leonida?
OFFICIALA fictional U.S. state parodying Florida. Vice City sits on its coast. Official.
Leonida is Rockstar’s Florida. It is a state, not a single city. Vice City is the neon coastal engine inside it — a modern city, not a 1986 time capsule, though the Vintage Vice City Pack is a deliberate wink at that era.
Named places in official stills include the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Ambrosia, and Port Gellhorn, plus the highways and swamp interiors visible in the Extended Look.
It is not Liberty City, not San Andreas, not a New York parody, not Vice City alone. If your uncle still says “they’re remaking Vice City,” send him this paragraph.
The humidity is the joke. The neon is the hangover. The map is bigger than a postcard of Ocean Drive. Our map desk keeps facts and square-mileage theories in separate tabs so they cannot contaminate each other.
Fan-made atmosphere studies in our photo archive are inspired by this geography. They are not official screenshots and not ripped 4K packages.
When Rockstar drops a labeled map, this FAQ will grow a legend. Until then, printed names beat YouTube counties.
Send this URL to the group chat that still says “Vice City remake.” Modern Vice is a city inside a state. The state is Leonida. The decade is now, with a vintage pack as garnish.
