When does GTA 6 Online come out?

Take-Two’s pre-order release describes Grand Theft Auto VI as featuring a single-player experience at launch. Rockstar has not published a GTA VI Online date, feature list, or session size.

Existing GTA Online — the GTA V-era live service — continues. Digital VI pre-orders even include a month of GTA+ for that ecosystem. That perk is not a VI Online season pass.

Heists as a live-service playlist are unconfirmed because the service is unconfirmed. Story jobs in the campaign are a different sentence.

Do not buy Ultimate because you think it is “the Online edition.” It is story-threaded extras for Jason and Lucia.

When Rockstar posts a VI Online date, this FAQ changes trust and grows a calendar. Until then, anyone selling shark-card folklore for a game that is not live is selling air.
