Does GTA 6 have multiplayer?
OFFICIALGTA VI Online is unconfirmed. Launch is described as a single-player experience. GTA Online in 2026 is still Grand Theft Auto V.
Take-Two’s pre-order materials describe Grand Theft Auto VI as a single-player experience at launch. Rockstar has not published a GTA VI Online date, session size, or feature list.
People search “GTA 6 multiplayer” and land on today’s GTA Online — which is still GTA V. Those servers are not VI. Mixing them into a VI status search is how rumors start.
A later VI Online is possible the way V grew a second product. Possible is not a date. We will not write heist playlists or player caps without a citation.
Digital pre-orders include a month of GTA+ for the current GTA+ library. That is not a VI Online season pass.
When Rockstar posts a VI Online line, this FAQ and the online hub change. Until then: campaign first; multiplayer unconfirmed.
