Will GTA 6 be on Xbox Game Pass?

Rockstar and Take-Two have not put Grand Theft Auto VI on an Xbox Game Pass store tile. The official launch product on November 19, 2026 is a purchase: Standard $79.99 USD, Ultimate $99.99 USD, on Xbox Series X|S (and PlayStation 5).
That is the confirmed part: you buy it, or you wait. There is no official sentence that says “day-one Game Pass.” There is also no official sentence that bans it forever.
History is context, not a promise. Grand Theft Auto V reached Game Pass years after launch. Take-Two’s biggest campaigns usually sell at full price first. Pattern is not a 2026 subscription date.
If Microsoft or Take-Two later announce a Game Pass window, this FAQ’s first line changes. Until then, budget for the boxed/digital price if you want to play on November 19.
Game Pass is not PlayStation Plus Premium, not PC Game Pass for a PC SKU that does not exist, and not GTA+. GTA+ in the pre-order perk is for the current GTA+ library around GTA V — not a VI subscription.
