FAQ

Is GTA 6 on PC?

OFFICIAL

Not at launch, and not announced. A later PC port is EXPECTED from history, not promised.

Grand Theft Auto VI does not have a confirmed PC release date, store page, or system-requirements sheet. Every official commercial sentence in 2026 names PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Rockstar’s modern pattern is console first, PC later. Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 both followed that shape, with PC arriving on the order of a year after the first boxes. That is why our PC desk exists, and why every speculative month on that desk wears an EXPECTED badge.

Do not buy a “GTA 6 PC key” from a grey-market stall. There is nothing to redeem. Do not format a 4 TB drive because a YouTuber “leaked the install size.” When Steam, Epic, or the Rockstar Warehouse actually list the game, this FAQ will change trust-level and sprout a requirements table.

The Rockstar Games Launcher existing today is not evidence. It launches GTA V. It does not secretly contain VI. Social Club existing today is how you exist in Rockstar’s current PC and Online world. It is not a hidden VI beta.

Mods, FiveM-style multiplayer, and trainer culture are PC-era conversations. They are not a reason to pretend a SKU exists. We will not host scripts, trainers, or “ready for VI” cheat menus.

If you are building a PC “for GTA 6,” you are building a PC for the rest of your library and hoping. That is fine. Print a store tile on this page before you buy a 4090-class card specifically because of a rumor.

Historical PC ports from this studio have needed time for settings menus, ultrawide, and the first-week crash list. That history is context. It is not a date. EXPECTED is not OFFICIAL.

For console owners: you do not have to wait. November 19 is a real play date on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. For PC holders: bookmark the PC desk. We will not bury the announcement in a rumor roundup.

Steam waitlists and fake store tiles will circulate again. We will not embed them. When a real page exists, you will see it on the PC desk and in this FAQ’s first line.

Building a machine “to be ready” is fine. Printing a recommended GPU from a leak slide is not. Wait for a requirements table with a Rockstar or store badge.

Launcher, Social Club, and Warehouse history matter for the eventual port. They do not hide a beta. Anyone DMing you a “PC preload ISO” is not a friend.
