Who is Jason in GTA 6?

Jason Duval is a playable protagonist in Grand Theft Auto VI. Official trailers, stills, and the Extended Look show him in the same jobs as Lucia Caminos — driving, hiding, working, surviving.

Rockstar’s printed premise puts Jason and Lucia at the center of a statewide conspiracy after an easy score goes wrong. The Extended Look appears to dramatize early rungs of that ladder, including work tied to Vice City businessman Boobie Ike.

A Dazed feature described him as an ex-military drug runner. That is magazine language. Until Rockstar writes it, it is not copied into this answer’s first paragraph.

Bonnie-and-Clyde is the framing Rockstar chose to show. Dual protagonists are not a guest-star structure. You play both.

We will not invent a default outfit list or a kill count. Related: who is Lucia, characters hub, story (spoiler-safe).
