Rockstar’s sentence: the Ultimate Edition “amplifies this experience with an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story.” Price: $99.99.

Coverage of the official sheets has named examples: Shitzu Squalo boat, Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, personalized weapon variants, PTT Youngin$ Compound activities, exclusive clothes, hairstyles and tattoos, and special shops such as Ride Out Customs, Sara’s Unisex Salon, and Stock 305. Those names are attached to official art. The live checklist still lives on Rockstar’s comparison page, which can grow.

Ultimate does not unlock the campaign early. It does not include a confirmed GTA VI Online currency bundle, because GTA VI Online itself is unconfirmed. Digital Ultimate still includes the same Vintage Vice City Pack window and the GTA+ month that digital standard includes.

If you only want to play the story on November 19, standard is the official product. Ultimate is cosmetics and extras woven through that story.

Do not buy Ultimate because a streamer said it is “the real game.” The campaign is the real game. Ultimate is a garnish Rockstar is allowed to sell.

Physical Ultimate, where offered, is still a code in a box. You are paying for extras, not for a disc of a different build.

Story-threaded extras mean you meet them in the campaign, not in a pre-game locker the night before. That is the official shape. It is still not early access.
