Is GTA 6 out?

No. GTA 6 is not out. Official launch is Thursday, November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 (including PS5 Pro) and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar and Take-Two have both used that calendar date.

Older windows (2025, a vacated May 2026) are fossils. A listing that says you can play on November 12 is selling pre-load as play. Pre-load is install. The campaign stays locked until the 19th.

PC is not out. Last-gen is not out. There is no official early-access SKU. Ultimate Edition is extra story content, not a time gate.

GTA 6 status on this site repeats that sentence next to a countdown and server cards. When the game is actually out, this FAQ’s first word changes.
